MANNA HOUSE WORKSHOPS PRESENTS ANNUAL MEEE JAZZ CONCERT WITH ANDREI CARRIERE

Take a little Jazz, Blues and R&B; blend it into a lot of Funk and you get the sounds of Andrei Carriere known as the “King of Funk.”

Andrei’s  distinctive vocal style and fiery guitar sound has made him a major attraction in the New York nightlife.  He has been performing his style of music in the New York City area for the past 20 years.

At least one inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, for every year since its inception, can call Andrei their musical director, composer, arranger or guitarist.

An evening with Andrei Carriere will be a unique and totally enjoyable experience!

The Manna House MEEE (Music for Entertainment, Education, and Enlightenment) Jazz Concert Series began in 1980. It provides a stage and audience for seasoned and emerging professional minority musicians and composers of Jazz and contemporary American music.

This series is held every first Sunday from February to June. Proceeds from the concert series help provide music lessons at Manna House for economically disadvantaged families in the New York City area.
